GATE Admit Card 2014 – Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT) is all set to conduct the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) Examination 2014. IIT will start providing GATE Admit Card/ Call letter for the year 2014. Written examination for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) will be conducted on February 1st, 2nd, 15th, 16th, March 1st and 2nd, 2014 West Bengal for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2014. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) conducts the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) once in a year. A very large number of candidates have applied for GATE 2014 examination. Now all of them are very eager to download Admit Card/ Hall ticket for the same. GATE 2014 examination will be held during forenoon (09:00 AM to 12:00 noon) and afternoon (2:00 PM to 5:00 PM) sessions on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) between 1st February 2014 and 2nd March 2014.

All those students who are going to appear for GATE 2014 on February & March are very excited about written examination. Many of them even start searching their admit card on internet. According to the source, GATE Admit card will be uploaded GATE websites from 18th December 2013. Not only Admit card but also candidates can get other details about GATE 2014 regarding question paper, syllabus, exam patter, marking scheme, cut-off marks and more. Admit Cards will NOT be sent by post/email. Bring a print-out of the downloaded Admit Card to the Test Center along with the original and valid photo identification (NO photocopy / scanned copy/NOT expired). Please note that you have to give details of this ID proof while filling the online application. Candidates will NOT be permitted to take the test, if this original and valid photo identification is not presented. It may be noted that you would have specified one of the following IDs during the online application process: Driving License, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Aadhaar UID, College ID, Employee Identification Card, or a Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address.

GATE 2014 Admit Card :- Available from December 18, 2013 on-wards

• The Admit Card for GATE 2014 must be downloaded from the website of the respective zonal centres as it is not sent by any other means.
• Candidates must print the GATE Admit Card 2014 after downloading it.
• The Admit Card of GATE 2014  must be brought to the exam hall along with a valid Photo ID (list of valid and permissible IDs is given below)
• The Photo ID must be the same one as mentioned while filling in the online Application Form and should be in original, in good condition and must not have expired.
• Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam if they fail to furnish the Photo ID as specified.

• PAN Card
• Voter ID
• Aadhaar UID
• College ID
• Employee identification card

A notarized affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address

Note: The details of this ID proof have to be given while filling the online application.

How to Download GATE Admit Card?

• Log on to official website of IIT at http://gate.iitkgp.ac.in/.
• Now select the language in which you want to browse the website.
• Now you will be entered to homepage of the website.
• Now find the link as GATE 2014 Admit Card and click on it.
• Now you will be asked for Roll number or Registration Number.
• Enter the required details and click on submit button.
• The next page will come up with your GATE Admit Card.
• Download it and take print it out.
