GPAT 2014 Syllabus : Welcome on this page, Here on this section we are mentioned the details about GPAT 2014 syllabus. Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is an entrance test for admission in Pharmacy Courses. GPAT is all India national level computer based test. Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is an all India level national test. The test is conducted by AICTEs as entrance exam for getting admissions in top AICTEs and leading institutes of the country. This year the GPAT exam will be held in the month of February 2014. Based on GPAT percentile and scores, candidates are called for next stage of selection process which generally includes Group Discussion, Essay and Personal Interview. The pattern of the GPAT exam is objective type multiple choice questions are asked in the exam. There is negative marking in the exam, for each wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted & for correct answer candidate will get Three marks will be awarded There is no penalty for questions that are left unanswered.

Note :- For applicants, who belong to reserved category, are asked to have caste certificates at the time of interview. If their castes are not listed in Govt. Listed then Applicants will be treated as Gen. Candidates.

General Techniques of Bio-synthetic Studies and Basic Metabolic Pathways/Bio-genesis:
Brief introduction to bio-genesis of secondary metabolites of pharmaceutical importance.
Natural allergens and photo sensitizing agents and fungal toxins. Herbs as health foods. Herbal cosmetics. Standardization and quality control of herbal drugs, WHO guidelines for the standardization of herbal drugs.

- The duration of GPAT 2014 Exam will be 3 hours and the total number of questions will be 125 multiple choice questions.
- For each correct response the student will be awarded 4 marks and for each wrong response 1 mark will be deducted.
