Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT), famous and top examination in India to take the admission in Top Pharmacy colleges in India for Post graduate as M. Pharm. This examination to be under the guidance of National Monitoring Committee, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi by The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara. Examination procedure will be done through the online mode. Now AICTE has been announced the GPAT registration for 2014. GPAT Online registration 2014 is starting from 06th November 2013 to 07th January 2014. The GPAT test will held on 25th February to 27th February 2014.Applicants are notify that they may option to selecting the date and city according to their choice which is best suitable for them to appear for the test.

Eligibility for GPAT Examination :–
Any candidate who holding B. Pharm degree or appearing in the Final year examination of B. Pharma in the year 2014 only are eligible for appearing for GPAT-2014 examination. Candidates who are in Final Year of B.Pharm / Completed B.Pharm degree after lateral entry into B.Pharm after D.Pharm are also eligible to appear for GPAT 2014
Note :- For applicants, who belong to reserved category, are asked to have caste certificates at the time of interview. If their castes are not listed in Govt. Listed then Applicants will be treated as Gen. Candidates.
Eligibility for GPAT 2014 :-
The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent B.Pharm. Relaxation in Educational Qualification for SC/ST/DA candidates is applicable as per Government/UGC rule. Candidates appearing for the final year of Qualifying Degree Exams and those who are awaiting the final year result of qualifying exam are eligible to appear in GPAT 2014.

On the basis of GPAT 2014 scores, each AICTE will shortlist candidates for second stage of selection, which may include Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussions (GD), and Personal Interview (PI). Along with the combined performance of candidates in second stage, AICTEs may also use candidates' previous academic performance, relevant work experience, and other similar inputs before coming out with final selection list.
Exam Structure :-
The GPAT-2014 examination will consist of a single paper of 3 hours duration containing 125 questions carrying a maximum of 125 marks. The question paper will consist of only multiple choice objective-type questions. Each question will have four choices for the answer. Test will be online. There will be negative marking for each wrong answer that is 1/4 (one-fourth) mark will be deducted
